Get your rods ready for two fun-filled fishing mornings:
2nd & 9th October 2025
Beach Access near Chinaman’s Beach
Event Details:Two age groups: 8 years & under, and 9–14 yearsRegistrations open from 8.00am on the beachFishing runs 9.00am – 11.00am, followed by prizesAny fish counts – with prizes for: most, biggest, smallest, unusual, and spot prizesFish must be alive at weigh-in (bring them in a bucket of water) – then releasedNo nets. BYO bucketKids must do the fishing themselves (adults can help with casting and baiting) Quad bikes available to help kids and their fish get to the weigh-in station
Entry: $5.00 per child
Sausage sizzle and drinks available for purchase
