Ahoy matey! This here 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom brick fortress be perfect fer yer crew or small band o’ pirates. The captain's quarters has its own ensuite, while the other chambers be fitted with a queen-sized bed and two single beds. A fine place fer yer next treasure hunt!

Kalbarri is blessed with a unique environment and it wont take too long to see this for yourself with clean, safe river beaches, ocean side beaches boasting amazing rock pools and world renowned Jacques Point which has left point surf break for the avid surfers. Towering coastal sandstone cliffs bordering coastal reef fringes make great viewing platforms for the frequently visiting whales and dolphins.
Our magical National Park Gorges now with 2 sky walks and with the Murchison River being a backdrop will keep every member of the family occupied. Kalbarri now has a new cycle/walk path that runs the length of the town foreshore and passes the newly completed, awesome environmentally friendly huge pirate playground.
Kalbarri offers you activities such as canoeing, fishing, charters, crabbing, sailing, wind surfing, 4 wheel driving, quad bike riding, snorkeling, swimming, hiking, bird-watching, photography, golf, bowls, scenic flights, shopping, wildflowers just to name a few. So take an organised tour or use your own transport, go by boat, take a scenic flight, trek the cliff tops, abseil down them, cycle to the lookouts or just relax the choice is yours.

The accommodation looks exactly like the photo, the only downside are the fans in two rooms are broken and no hair dryer.

Our stay at Blue Beard was fantastic overall. The house was very clean and well maintained, and the pool was definitely the highlight of our stay. It was amazing and well used by everyone. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the lack of air conditioning in the two bedrooms. During our stay, temperatures reached the mid 40s and the rooms became unbearably hot at night, making it very difficult to sleep. This significantly affected our comfort during the stay. We truly enjoyed the property and would have happily booked again, however the heat in the bedrooms means we wouldn't be able to stay during warmer periods unless air conditioning is added.

Absolutely lovely house and property! It had everything we needed and more, including a pool, which was much appreciated during a very warm few days there. We also liked being able to park the car securely under cover, and the house was still close enough that we could walk to most places if we wanted to. The air conditioners got a thorough work-out as one day soared over 47 degrees C! The only problem was that the second bedroom, furthest from the living area, did not have an air conditioner and was unfortunately unbearably hot and made for uncomfortable nights. This was really the only thing wrong in what was otherwise a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

our second year staying at Blue Beards and again, it was awesome. Plenty of space for our family of 6, the pool was heavily used between bike rides to the bakery, swimming at the beach or fishing off the jetty. We love it here and are sad that the owners are moving back and we have to find another holiday home for our annual trip.

Really lovely house, great outdoor settings. It was very comfortable. One recommendation, as we were 4 older ladies, the bath/shower in the family bathroom needs a rubber mat in the bath as it is very slippery.

Blue Beards Hide away is a great place to stay. Close to town and beaches and scenic drives.
It’s in a quiet location and is a great set up for families or two couples.
There were only a few things we would say that could be changed.
The second double room has no where to gang your clothes so we had to use the single room cupboard Which if you had others staying there would be a problem.
The vanity in the main bathroom had spiders in so obviously just missed.
The outdoor BBQ needs attention too.
Apart from these few things the out side area and house are very well set out and we had a wonderful time there.
We definitely would book another stay.

Great 3 weeks spent at Bluebeards Hideaway. Friendly neighbours, short walk into town , plenty of very good eateries and of course amazing National park and Skywalk. Good walks including Meanarra Hill amd all the coastal walks. Looking forward to visiting again next year.

Disappointed this time round though. The house is pet friendly however the garage door has been replaced with a thin Cafe blind. Not safe if guests have large dog. Patio snapped from its footings in a steong wind and I had to make emergency repairs myself late at night to avoid it blowing over onto my 4wd. Lovely place but needs a fair bit of work!

We were really surprised as soon as we opened the door. It was so neat and tidy and plenty of room especially 2 lounges with TV's and one with a DVD player. The kitchen was really good and having 2 bathrooms was a plus. The pool would be good in summer but not winter as it was too cold but I would come here again as we were able to bring our dog

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Beards Hideaway! Just the right size place for us with our 4 kids and fur kid! Crystal clear pool, super comfy beds and a fantastic outdoor area to enjoy. It could do with some wifi for the downtime - this would be the only issue I can point out... and this day and age it’s a big one!!
The floor wasn’t clean either, there was sand right through, otherwise it was good... but the floors definitely were not done before we stayed.

Beds are so comfy with added bonus of blankets in each bedroom cupboard . Sparkling clean pool. Great undercover area with outside fridge and BBQ.

We had an amazing time at this excellent property. From the very beginning (when we paid upfront while making the booking) to the very end (when we handed the keys back) it was a seamless and most pleasurable experience. All the staff at the Kalbarri Ray White accommodation centre (especially Emma Blackburn) were excellent. We were permitted to bring our ageing Golden Retriever with us. She had the beautiful lawn to roll over and felt so happy. The house had everything (except the internet - which can be either positive or negative!) to help us have a memorable holiday. We would highly recommend this property and we ourselves hope to be back soon. Thanks team.
The new owner has given the house a refreshed feeling with little additions like WiFi, linen and a feeling of being in a holiday house. The pool is magnificent, the house well kept and we would h highly recommend Blue Beards to any families wanting a space to relax when not exploring the amazing places in and around Kalbarri
