Kalbarri is blessed with a unique environment and it wont take too long to see this for yourself with clean, safe river beaches, ocean side beaches boasting amazing rock pools and world renowned Jacques Point which has left point surf break for the avid surfers. Towering coastal sandstone cliffs bordering coastal reef fringes make great viewing platforms for the frequently visiting whales and dolphins.
Our magical National Park Gorges now with 2 sky walks and with the Murchison River being a backdrop will keep every member of the family occupied. Kalbarri now has a new cycle/walk path that runs the length of the town foreshore and passes the newly completed, awesome environmentally friendly huge pirate playground.
Kalbarri offers you activities such as canoeing, fishing, charters, crabbing, sailing, wind surfing, 4 wheel driving, quad bike riding, snorkeling, swimming, hiking, bird-watching, photography, golf, bowls, scenic flights, shopping, wildflowers just to name a few. Good and very close to shop which is fine over quiet periods.
Aircon is ONLY for cooling which I hadn’t realized. Lucky it was above 12 degrees for the three nights!

Lovely and clean accommodation.
Fans supplied in each of the bedrooms but maybe ceiling fans would be more practical.
Loved the frangipani trees out the back.

As we had lived in kalbarri for 30 years, going back is always nice. The only thing I would say about the accommodation is tgat maybe they need to get a pest control spray done as there were quite a lot of cockaroach in the unit and the cupboards have a smell about them. The fly wire door could do with a good clean and maybe a tidy up out the back around the cloth line.

Great location, close to everything. Did say parking space for 2 cars and there wasn’t unless you count parking on the verge which the neighbours monopolised.
Relatively clean but not great, tufts of hair and fluff all over the floor especially around the fan and chair legs.
BBQ was filthy and gas bottle completely empty.
A simple door on the laundry basin would make it look a lot less unkempt.
Front security door didn’t lock with any of the keys provided.

The location was brilliant and the unit had a wonderful front verandah overlooking the park and water with a weber BBQ that was great. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessary accessories. Two doors down from the supermarket and walking distance to the pub, cafes and parks topped off the experience. Definitely would book this place again.

The property is in a fantastic location. It was very clean and tidy however a few things are showing their age and are beginning to need repair/replacement. The mattress in the master bedroom is extremely uncomfortable and put a dampner on our stay as it was impossible to have a comfortable nights sleep. I would also suggest some bbq cleaning tools.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and loved Kalbarri.
What more could you ask for.
